Airports are often compared to beehives because they’re so busy. Effective Aviation Management Systems allows an airlines or Airports to manage their active places and running them safely and smoothly.
ORION GROUP has also endeavored itself widely into the country’s aviation sector. With a vision to establish ourselves as a leader in this sector, we are now concentrating on representation of renowned airlines as its’ General Sales Agent (GSA) and providing cargo handling services.
Orion also intends to launch an airline in near future. The focus of this airline will be to provide better service to the passengers at a lower price.
There are three concerns under the aviation management wing of Orion group.
Aviation Management Services (BD) Ltd. (AMS)
After the 9/11 tragedy in the United States, Government of Bangladesh made it mandatory to scan all exportable cargo before departure. Subsequent to this decision, a tender was called by the Government and AMS secured the contract through the tendering process.
AMS has been awarded with the contract of constructing and conducting the conducting the cargo scanning facility at Zia International Airport, Dhaka. Till now, AMS us carrying out the complex and concise work of conducting the cargo scanning facility at the premier airport of Bangladesh.
AMS has been providing services at the Zia International Airport and has satisfied the international carriers that are operating in Bangladesh such as Saudia, Emirates, Gulf Air, Yemen Airways, Singapore Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Thai, Indian Airlines, Qatar Airways, Kuwait Air, etc.
